Mordechai Ish-Shalom

Mordechai Ish-Shalom ((ヘブライ語:מרדכי איש-שלום)), (1902–1991), was an Israeli politician and labor leader. He was mayor of Jerusalem from 1959 to 1965.
==Biography==
Ish-Shalom was born in Lithuania and moved to British Palestine in 1923. His labor career began in the Stonecutters' Union in 1935; he then rose through the ranks of the Histadrut, the Israeli trade union congress.
Ish-Shalom was instrumental in the successful development of Kiryat Wolfson, a five-tower high-rise project constructed in Jerusalem in the 1970s.
